My name is Barry Fruchter, and I am a 1967 graduate of Bard College in Annandale-on-Hudson, NY. My wife, Amber Rose, is a 1969 graduate of the University of Chicago.
Our mutual best friend is Deborah Einbender, who attended Grinnell in 1965-67 (?). We believe that she then transferred to NYU in NYC.
The reason for this inquiry, rather than questioning her directly, is that she is dying of several incurable cancers and can no longer speak or write. I am writing a memoir about her and thought you, as a ’69 Grinnell grad, might possibly remember Deborah. Any information, even a partial memory, would be most welcome.
